Tamara Tawil Borhani founded Teta’s Bites (Grandma’s Bites) based on love. The love of her Grand Mother, mum and their long held, cherished and cross-generational recipes of authentic Lebanese dishes and home made yummy food.
She is a graduate from HIM (Hotel Institute Monteux) in Switzerland. Just after graduation she worked with one of the world’s most reputable hospitality groups The Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG).
Before becoming a full time mum 7.5 years ago she was the Head of H.R at Gallery Lafayette (G.L) DXB looking after the administrative development of more than 320 colleagues. On breaks and after office hours, whilst most colleagues would head to the fashion and luxury shop-in-shops of G.L, Tamara could be found in the kitchen appliances department and exchanging ideas with Chefs at various food stations.
Tamara has made her mark among family and friends, not as an influencer, or social media celebrity but as a passionate bohemian and avant-garde chef de maison!
